Description:
Nice pencils of the first half S.XX Probably belong to a box of measures. The handle is of a piece, in our opinion, and apparently, of aluminum painted black, with a bolt threaded in its base, with which it is screwed to the head. It could be another light material, since it could not be assured that it is made of aluminum.
The head is very slender, two pieces. A piece of polished steel, with the two tongues, assembled to a piece of white metal alloy that has a threaded hole, to which the handle is screwed.
The tongues have the wear and tear of their use and the time elapsed. The tips of the tongues are very well preserved.
The distance between tabs is adjusted by means of a wheel with a threaded bolt, which goes through one of the tongues, and is screwed into the opposite tongue.
It is convenient that a cleaning is done, with which it would improve sensibly. Interesting as a collector's item.
Comments:
Due to the fact that the differences in tonalities between photos and reality are inevitable, we must bear in mind that the color tones of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the actual colors. The piece presents the wear and tear of its time, as well as some stains. It has small flaws. The information provided here are personal opinions not contrasted.
