Description:
- Engraving corresponding to Plate 49 on Architecture, belonging to the Popular Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Sciences and Arts, produced by Federico Gillman, and based on the Iconographic Encyclopaedia and the Conversations Lexicon from Germany.
- The engraving depicts the Dome of Les Invalides, the Sorbonne Church, and the dome of St. Genevieve (Panthéon), all in Paris.
- The upper margin bears the title “ARCHITECTURE”, and the top right-hand corner is stamped “Lam. 49”, identifying it as Engraving number 49 in a series on architecture.
