- The book, written in Spanish, has on the first page a dedication and handwritten signature of Don José Sebastián de Goyeneche, Bishop of Arequiza.
- The author, D. Manuel de Berriozabal (1814-1872), Marquis of Casa Jara. Spanish-Peruvian writer and nobleman. Settled in Paris, he devoted his writing to mystical themes, sometimes inspired by biblical passages and sometimes by his own religious experiences.
- Talent in all its aspects and relationships. Dated 1852.

- Stamped on spine: ‘Berriozábal. El talento'.
Conservation and Damage:
- General Condition: Very Good.
- Sewn binding in very good condition. Covers have rubbing to the edges.
- The tips of the covers are slightly deteriorated with light creases and folds.
- The book has not suffered external aggressions such as attacks by insects, rodents, etc.
- The book shows wear and tear typical of it's age.
