- White enameled porcelain figure, Art Deco style, representing two dancers around a floor, and with a central cloth that connects them, made in the early 20th century, by the German sculptor Gustav Oppel.
- The porcelain piece is complete and very well preserved, without any breakage and with minimal wear on the bottom of its base. Some manufacturing defects have been detected, photographed and described.
- The porcelain was made in the German factory Schwarzburger Werkstäetten Für Porzellankunst, for which Gustav Oppel worked from 1915 to 1924, a factory that is currently operating.
- The porcelain is signed at the top of the base, by means of an Inscription.
- On the back of the porcelain base, the Anagram of the Brand of the factory that made it is Inscribed.
- The artistic quality is magnificent, managing to transmit both a great movement in harmony and a spectacular expression, with great ease in making the sculpture and a very personal style.
- Its whiteness leaves the imagination of the viewer the influence of color, which gives it great appeal as it is not polychrome.
- The porcelain is made with high quality, bearing in mind that the realization of white porcelains has great difficulties.
- We have detected four manufacturing defects. A small impurity with lack of enamel at the base of the central cloth. A tiny impurity in the hand of one of the dancers. A lack of enamel on the lower thigh of the same dancer. A lack of enamel on the other dancer"s back. All these defects can be seen in detail in the photographs.
- The small impurity at the base of the cloth and the smallest impurity in one hand, are almost imperceptible, so they do not influence the general appearance.
- The two missing enamels are in very little exposed areas, so they do not influence the general appearance either.
- These defects, being a product of manufacturing, are highly integrated into the porcelain, so they are very hidden and difficult to detect with the naked eye, and therefore do not influence, in our opinion, the final result of the set sculptural.
