Beautiful engraving from Austria. Tirol. Landeck. It is made of etching steel (may be another technique). The lower margin is somewhat scarce. Probably may have been bound. Role of regular quality. A strip of paper is affixed to the top edge. The edges are deteriorated, broken and cut irregularly. It has dirt, rust and moisture marks. The painter is: Darwin. Engraver: Cholet. Printer: El Liceo Magazine. Director: Lemaitre. Year 1838. The view that the engraving presents, can be located in the present Landeck, where the castle and some other buildings are conserved. Because the differences in tonalities between photos and reality are inevitable, it must be borne in mind that the color tones of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the actual colors. It presents the own attrition of its time, as well as some stains. It has small damages. The data provided here are unconfirmed personal opinions.
