Beautiful pencil mustache for the first half of the 20th century. It would probably belong to a box of measures.
It consists of five pieces. Sleeve, transition ring, needle arm and two-piece pencil lead arm.
The sleeve is made of nickel-plated steel. It can be unscrewed from the hoop. The transition ring, serves to maintain the opening tension of the arms, making clamp on them, which rotate on a pin, which acts as axis of rotation. It has rust, especially on one of its sides.
The opening of the Bigotera, that is to say, the distance between both arms, is graduated by means of a wheel supported on a small ring inserted in a threaded bolt with a stop at its other end, and that crosses the two arms. This distance is what allows you to set the radius of the circle you want to draw.
In the needle arm, it is fixed by pressing it by means of a wheel that is screwed in a perforated threaded pin, in which the needle is inserted.
The pencil arm is two pieces assembled together. The pencil mine is fixed by pressing it with a wheel inserted in a threaded bolt with a stop on the other end.
Very interesting as a collector"s item. It is convenient to carry out a cleaning, and an adequate treatment for the oxide, which would revalue the piece very remarkably.
