Buy Pill Box Nest. Small box. S.XX

Beautiful box pillbox, shaped like a nest in which there is a bird and three newborn pigeons. The artistic quality and execution are very good, with a magnificent result of mini sculpture, at the height of the Austrian bronzes.
It has a great detail, taking care of each and every one of its aspects. It is made with an alloy of white metals, in which there can be part of silver. It was probably painted or lacquered in black, since there are remains of black in the deeper areas of the mini sculpture.
The interior has a red material attached, with a velvet-like finish, very worn by use, and which gives it a very attractive appearance. The opening is by means of a hinge with its corresponding bolt for turning. The closure is of the Omega type that acts on a tiny sphere.
No type of registration or signature has been located. Very interesting as a collector"s item and decorative element. Spectacular in an illuminated niche, with minimalist decoration.
