Buy Christ medal of Limpias. Brass. S.XX

Medal with circular, stamped brass. Principles first half S. XX.
Obverse: Christ of half body clean, high relief made by a great artist. Highlights of half body clean, high relief made by a great artist. Stresses the positive impression that transmits to those who see it.
Reverse: Inscription "Remembrance of Santo Cristo de Limpias". On one side it has a branch with a flower. We have not found any type of registration or signature that identifies the author, no registration of the foundry, or any other brand that can identify it. The artistic quality and execution are very good, resulting in a magnificent high relief, with great ease in their strokes, and taking care of each and every one of its aspects. At the time of the medal, very early in the twentieth century, which is when the "unexplained events occurred in Limpias", probably very few copies were made of it, since the influx of pilgrims at first should be very limited. The finishing very little worked, it adds a lot of interest, because for it the mold has to be of great quality, if you want to get the very good result of this sculpture. The patina that has the medal is very interesting, with brown and green tones. The small areas with green patina correspond to the brass and bronze oxide, which indicates that for some time it would be in an environment with enough humidity. All these extremes, provide a very attractive and very high quality appearance.
Both the measurements and the weight are approximate. Very interesting as a collector"s item and decorative element. It is difficult to find it, and less in such a good state of conservation and with such good patina. The medal remains.
