Measures:Nut: Width: 3,6 cm.
Diameter: 4,5 cm.
Description:
- Complete plumb bob for the construction of the first half of the 20th century, with a solid weight of 8.2 cm. high and 3.6 cm. in diameter. The head is threaded, conserving the bronze nut and the string.
- The body of the weight is shaped like a cylinder and cone. It is made of yellow bronze with the exception of the apex of the cone which is made of iron.
- The width of the nut is 3.6 cm, coinciding with the diameter of the weight, also 3.6 cm.
- The Nut has a slightly coppery bronze colour, being of a different shade from the yellow bronze of the Weight, so we believe that both bronzes belong to different castings.
- The execution quality of the Plumb bob is very good, both the casting and the turning of the Weight and the Nut, all with simple and very good finishes.
- Chiselled bands can be seen in both the Weight and the Walnut.
- The name "J. Ramiro Pareja" is inscribed on the Walnut.
- Apart from the inscription on the Walnut, no distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was manufactured, information about the manufacturer and other information.
- The Plumb bob is probably made in southern Europe, with the possibility that its place of manufacture is in Spain.
- A very good and beautiful period patina is preserved throughout the Plumb bob.

Conservation and damages:
- The Plumb bob is in good state of conservation, having many, but very small blows and rubs, as much in the edges and faces.
- The cast iron of the Plumb bob has no imperfections.
