Buy Bakelite, steel and metal tracer. First half 20th Century

- Tracer from the first half of the 20th century. It would probably belong to a compass box.
- Three-piece tracer. The handle is made of bakelite or similar, the body has a metal head and the tongues are made of steel. On the reeds, the wheel has a plate in order to apply a more uniform pressure on the reed.
- The plate has the following inscription: PAT FEB 4 34. Patent reference.
- The handle can be unscrewed.
- The tips of the tabs are in very good condition. The distance between the tabs is adjusted by means of a metal wheel with a threaded bolt that goes through the upper tab, threading into the lower tab.
- It is of great importance that the object has a distinctive mark or contrast, in order to be able to identify data such as its author, the place where it was made and other details.
Conservation and damage:
- There are small bumps and scratches on the tips, due to use.
- The object shows wear and tear typical of its age.
