Buy Plumb bob. Brass construction. 20th Century

- Plumb bob Incomplete construction from the first half of the 20th century, with a brass weight and without preserving the nut.
- The body of the weight is cylindrical and conical in shape, 8.6 cm. high and 3.1 cm. in diameter, with a threaded head.
- Along the body there are several turned grooves of subtle depth, achieving a harmonious overall effect.
- A very good and beautiful patina is preserved throughout the Plumb-bob.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker"s details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.
Preservation and damage:
- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, although the Weight has many, but very minor knocks and scratches.
- The quality of the brass casting and the execution of the plumb bob is good.
- On one of the faces, it has what looks like a casting defect or a property mark. We are more inclined towards the ownership mark, as it has a very well-defined shape.
- The Plumb bob shows wear typical of its age.
