Buy Plumb bob Construction 19th Century. Fixed head

- Plumb bob Incomplete construction from the first half of the 19th century, with a solid bronze weight and without preserving the nut.
- The body of the weight is cylindrical in shape, 7.1 cm. high and 5.1 cm. in diameter, with a fixed head.
- Due to its characteristics it could be earlier, but we are more inclined towards the first half of the 19th century.
- The bronze has a very good composition, retaining a natural lustre.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found, which could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker"s details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.
Preservation and damage:
- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, although the Weight has many, but very minor knocks and scratches.
- The quality of the brass casting and the execution of the plumb bob is very good.
- There is a very good and nice patina all over the plumb bob.
- The plumb bob shows wear typical of its age.
