Buy Plated alpaca vase. Middletown Plate Co.

- Small silver-plated nickel silver jug.
- At the bottom of its base, the jug has the inscription ""The Middletown Plate Co" U.S.A. 518".
- American company, name: Middletown Plate Co - Middletown CT. The business was started in the year 1864. The company was taken over in 1899 by the International Silver Co and production transferred to the Wilcox Silver Plate Co factory.
- The International Silver Company (1898-1983 ceased manufacturing silver), also known as ISC, was formed in Meriden, Connecticut, as an umbrella corporation for many of the existing silver companies in the immediate area and beyond.
- The little jug is circular, with a very peculiar handle. It has a very pretty floral design on the handle and bordering the entire pitcher.
- The jug is dated to the second half of the 20th century, but could be from the first half of the 20th century.
