- Incomplete plumb bob of great size, for Construction of the First Half of the S.XX, with solid weight of bronze, threaded head without conserving the nut.
- The body of the weight is cylindrical and conical in shape, 14.8 cm. high and 5.1 cm. in diameter.
- The thread is large in size and diameter, with a medium thread and pitch.
- Very good and beautiful patina is preserved throughout the plumb bob. The quality of the bronze casting, and of the execution of the plumb bob, is good.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker"s details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.
Preservation and damage:
- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, although the plumb bob has several knocks and scratches, both on the edges and on the faces.
- A very good and beautiful patina has been preserved on the entire plumb bob.
- The quality of the bronze casting and the execution of the plumb bob is very good.
- The Plumb bob shows wear typical of it"s age.
