- We think it is made of tinned bronze.
- The tray is probably made by electroplating, by electrical deposition.
- In the centre of the tray is a vase/fruit bowl surrounded by floral motifs. The floral motifs continue to border the end of the tray, with four fleurons.
- The tray has a special charm. With its considerable thickness, it has a magnificent sound to the touch.
