- Publisher"s glossy paper hard covers, very good execution, printed in gilt with "a full colour drawing", the title "A Friend is Forever", and the publisher "Helen Exley", all on the Flat of the Cover.
- Publisher"s glossy paper spine in gilt, very good execution, with the title "A friend is forever" and the publisher "Edaf".
- Thick paper covers with purple shadows.
- The verso of the front flyleaf is printed with the Legal Page. The back of the rear flyleaf is printed with the last page of text.
- Text on white, thick, very good quality paper.
