- Instrumental plumb bob from the second half of the 19th century, with solid bronze weight, and without conserving the nut.
- It measures 10 cm. high and 4.8 cm. in diameter, with a threaded head.
- The body of the weight is cone-shaped at the tip, and the rest of the body gets bigger as you reach the head of the plumb bob.
- Both the body of the weight and the head are made of bronze, while the tip is made of iron.
- The thread is small in size and diameter, with a medium thread and pitch.
- The lower two-thirds of the weight has several subtle grooves, creating a harmonious overall effect.
- It has a chiselled ring on the smooth upper third, which gives it an elegant touch.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on where it was made, the maker"s details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.
