- Engraving Horn to drink, Clamado Tunderensio.
- The engraving shows a drinking horn with the engraving of the carving on the horn unfolded.
- All the titles and signatures are outside the plate.
- In the upper margin is the legend "GERMANIE - GERMANIA".
- In the lower margin is the legend "Corne à designe sous le nom de Tunderense - Drinking horn, Called Tunderensio".
- In the upper right-hand corner is printed the number "26", which suggests that the engraving is number 26 of a series.
- Augustin François Lemaître: French engraver, lithographer, designer, publisher and photographer. He depicted many landscapes, monuments, architecture and people, especially during his many travels in Europe.
- Intaglio etching on steel, although a different technique could also have been used.
- It is probably an engraving from a book.
Conservation and damage:
- General condition: Fair.
- The ink is very good, and it has a good stamping.
- The engraving is in monochrome black, with very good ink.
- The lateral margins of the engraving are scarce and irregular.
- The upper margin is not parallel to the lower margin.
- The engraving is on thin paper of regular quality.
- The engraving is dirty, the edges are much dirtier, with very small tears, and the tips are slightly deteriorated with slight bending. It has small damp and rust stains.
- A light washing and bleaching would be a very good result.
