Buy Large iron plumb bob. Rare. S.XVIII

- Plumb bob from the first half of the 18th century without a nut and, therefore, incomplete.
- The weight is 10.7 cm high, 4.6 cm in diameter and weighs 538 gr.
- The weight, made entirely of iron, is cone-shaped, of a large size and with a fixed head.
- It has a spectacular patina and colour.
- We think that in its day, a special external treatment was made to the iron or alternatively, they used an alloy of iron with another metal, and this is what has given it this patina.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker"s details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.
