Buy Medal Grotte de Bernadette. 1858

- Medal representing the grotto of Bernadette, from the second half of the 19th century.
- The medal is made in a personal style with great ease and excellent workmanship, achieving harmonious and expressive effects in the high reliefs.
- Obverse: It depicts the apparition of the Virgin in the grotto of Bernadette. Underneath is the following inscription: "Per Maria Ad Jesus. "Penin poncet depose".
- Reverse: Words of the Holy Virgin to Bernadette Soubirous.
- Medal with flat handle and ring. Plain edge.
- We have not found any Contrast or Distinctive on the Medal, which would provide us with the data of the identity of its authors.
Conservation and damage:
- The medal is in a very good state of preservation.
- Both the obverse and reverse show minimal wear.
- The edges of the edge have several dents.
- The object shows wear typical of it"s age.
