Buy Modernist medallion bust woman. S.XIX

- Modernist medal, representing the bust of a woman, made in brass and from the second half of the 19th century.
- Obverse: Depicts the bust of a woman in a clearly modernist style, with a floral border around the lower part of the medal.
- Reverse: plain with no inscription.
- Medal with ring. Plain edge.
- We have not found any Contrast or Distinctive on the Medal, which would provide us with information on the identity of its authors.
- The Medal is made in a personal style with great skill and excellent workmanship, achieving harmonious and expressive effects in the high reliefs.
Conservation and damage:
- Overall, the medal is in a very good state of preservation.
- The wear to the gilding, both on the obverse and on the reverse, caused by its use and age, together with the good quality of the high relief, has given us a beautiful patina.
- The object shows wear typical of it"s age.
