- Round brass stamped plate.
- It represents the education and the formation, next to a globe.
- Obverse: two teenagers are shown reading a book, seated at the foot of a larger book. At the bottom is a scroll, and at the top is a lamp next to a globe.
- Reverse: plain.
- It is made with a die and then chiselled.
- The artistic quality of the plaque is high, so the mould has been based on the work of a good sculptor.
- It is made from a thin brass plate.
- No distinctive markings, marks or contrasts have been found that could provide information on where it was made, the maker"s details, or any other information.
Condition and damage:
- The plate is in good condition.
- It has several marks on the front, and a circumference around the die, probably made with a punch or drawing tool.
- The Object shows wear typical of it"s age.
