- Matchbox with photo frame.
- Small book-shaped box from 1910, probably a box for keeping matches.
- In one of the lids of the box there are two sections, we think for very small photos.
- The front lid is engraved with the year 1910, together with the initials: "SH".
- The lids on both sides are spring-loaded.
- On one side of the box there is a roughness, the function of which is to light the matches.
- On the bottom of the box is an inscription: "Ra.387671 C.E.B.&Co.".
- There is a hook on the top of the box, probably for hanging it up so that it can be carried.
- A wooden clip has been used to keep the lids open.
- The fact that the object has a distinctive mark or contrast is of great importance in order to be able to identify data such as its maker, the place where it was made and other details.
Preservation and damage:
- The box is complete and in a good state of preservation.
- The outer part of the box is the most exposed and therefore shows the most wear.
- The Object shows wear typical of it"s age.
