Buy Iron plumb bob with nut. 18Th Century.

- Construction plumb bob from the second half of the 18th century, with a solid iron weight, fixed head and nut.
- The body of the weight is cylindrical and conical in shape, 9.2 cm. high and 3.8 cm. in diameter.
- The nut is whole, made of wood and probably later than the plumb bob.
- It is a rare plumb bob to find in this condition and complete.
- The plumb bob has several marks along the body. The iron has a very good composition, retaining a natural lustre.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found, which could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker"s data, as well as other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.

- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, although the weight has many, but very small knocks and scratches.
- It has a very good and beautiful patina all over the plumb bob.
