- As mentioned above, it is finished off with light, subtle brushstrokes in a single stroke, which outline and define the top of the painting.
- The oil painting is executed in a wide range of ochre colours.
- The oil painting shows a sunset in front of a river or lake, reflecting the sun"s rays on the water. On the right-hand side is a windmill, with no sign of any figure.
- It is signed, but the signature is illegible.
