- Plaque of an old man reading, philosopher studying.
- The plate depicts a philosopher studying, next to several books and a pen on a table.
- The plate is made by electroplating by means of electrical deposition. The workmanship is of high quality, with great attention to detail.
- The plaque has a hole in the upper part, designed to place a bracket to hang it.
- As can be seen in the photographs, much of the silver plating has been lost, accentuating the reddish colour of the copper.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on where it was made, the maker"s details, or any other information.
Condition and damage:
- It is in a very good state of preservation.
- At first sight there are no casting defects.
- The Object shows wear and tear typical of it"s age.
