Buy Medal Mary Mediatrix. Christ of Love.

- Die-cut aluminium medal, with flat handle and ring, dated Second Half of 20th century.
- The high relief of the medal has a good quality.
- Obverse: The Virgin Mary Mediatrix appears in the centre. The border is inscribed: ,Mary Mediatrix, pray for us,.
- Reverse: Christ crucified. Border inscribed: ,S. Christ of Merciful Love,. It has the monogram JHS below Christ.
- Edge: Plain without any inscription.
- The monogram JHS was used by St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, and thus became his symbol. The most widely accepted theory is that it corresponds to the first three letters, in Greek and in capital letters, of the name "Jesus". Another theory is that they correspond to the initials of the Latin phrase "Iesus Hominum Salvator", which translates as "Jesus, saviour of men".
- We have not found any Contrast or Distinctive on the Medal, which would provide us with data on the identity of its authors.
Conservation and damage:
- The Medal is in a very good state of preservation.
- The front, back and edges have minor dents and scratches.
- Neither the obverse nor the reverse show much wear.
- The Object shows wear typical of it’s age.
