- It corresponds to the artist Damián Díaz Camilo (1910-1984), born in Yecla, Murcia. From an early age he was interested in drawing and studied at the art school in his hometown.
- He is probably the father of Pepe Díaz Azorín, painter, engraver, sculptor and university professor. His mother, Ángeles Azorín Soriano, is the one who authenticated her husband,s work.
- The painting is a still life, with a vase of flowers, three apples and a basket of cherries.
