- Engraving of the city of Baden, and its castle. Switzerland.
- All titles and signatures are outside the plate.
- In the upper margin it has the legend "Switzerland - Suisse".
- In the lower margin is the legend "Vue de la Ville et du Chateau de Baden (canton d,Argovie) - View of the town and castle of Baden".
- Baden, a Swiss town and commune in the canton of Aargau, capital of the district of Baden. The castle of Baden, now called Stein ruins, stands above the town centre with a beautiful panoramic view.
- The number "27" is printed in the upper right-hand corner, suggesting that the engraving is number 27 in a series.
- In the lower centre, the engraver signs it only as Rouargue, so it is by one of the two Rouargue brothers. In our opinion, the author of the engraving plate is most probably Adolphe Rouargue (1810 - 1870).
- Chalcographic etching on steel plate, although another technique could also have been used.
- Produced in single-colour black tone, very well inked.
- It is probably an engraving belonging to a book.
