- Ornamental plumb bob, with threaded head and conserving the nut.
- It has a truncated cone shape, with very nice ornamental details, which makes it a plumb bob for exhibition.
- The all bronze nut is probably original to the plumb bob.
- The thread is large in size and diameter, with a large thread and pitch.
- Along the body it has turned grooves of subtle depth, creating a harmonious overall effect.
- On the upper part, it has two chiselled bands with rough edges, one of them on the head for a better grip.
- The centre of the plumb bob approximates a cone-shaped centre, although its walls are slightly oval. The entire plumb bob is made of solid bronze, except for the tip, which is made of steel.
- This type of plumb bobs were not made for use, but for ornamentation, given their large size and spectacular design. They are used for display and admiration.
- The walnut has a gold and copper colour, with a grimace on one side for winding the cord.
- The nut has the following inscription: ,C&M 62 - Sheffield - 3,.
- Apart from the inscription on the Nut, no distinctive mark or contrast has been found, which could provide information on where it was made, the maker,s details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe, with the possibility that it was made in Spain.
