- Pair of Chinese ceramic ashtrays, Satsuma style.
- They are square, hand-painted in black and gold, and finally enamelled.
- They have a very pretty floral decoration, and the back is stamped 'Made in China'.
- Made between the late 19th and early 20th century, they are clearly influenced by the Japanese Satsuma style, although their origin is Chinese.
- It has small colour flaws, although the gilding is quite well preserved.
- It has a simple and very elegant design.
- Apart from the stamp on the back, no distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.
