- In the upper margin is the legend "France XVªS - France SºXV".
- In the lower margin is the legend 'Tombeau dans l'eglise de Villenueve Avignon - Tomb in the Church of Villenueve Avignon'.
- In the upper right-hand corner is printed the number "438", which suggests that the engraving is number 438 of a series.
- In the lower right-hand corner, the engraver signs it as Lemaitre (Augustin François Lemaître).
- In the lower left-hand corner, the draughtsman signs as Guillaumot, del.
- Augustin François Lemaître (1797-1870). French engraver, lithographer, designer, publisher and photographer. He depicted many landscapes, monuments, architecture and people, especially during his many travels in Europe.
