- The engraving shows the tower of the great church of Dordrecht, where the beautiful carillon, the largest in Europe, is perfectly visible.
- Dordrecht is the oldest city in the Netherlands. The imposing and beautiful church was built between the 11th and 14th centuries. Its mighty 75-metre high tower, which is still unfinished, stands out. The river Merwede flows through the city.
- The engraving is numbered and signed, although the signature is illegible.
- The following appears at the bottom of the engraving: Nº37 Lbo. Dordrecht. The signature, which we have not been able to identify, follows.
- Chalcographic etching on copper plate, although another technique could have been used.
- It is in single-colour black tone, very well inked. It is framed.
- The engraving is of high quality, with great attention to detail.
