Buy BONE AND METAL TYRALINE. S.XIX

- Very nice line drawing from the second half of the XIXth century. It would probably belong to a compass box.
- Three-piece tyraline. The handle, made of bone, is screwed to the body of the reeds, which, in turn, is encased in a cylindrical base of brass.
- The body has a brass head and chrome-plated or nickel-plated steel tongues.
- The tips of the tongues are in very good condition. The distance between the tongues is adjusted by means of a brass wheel with a threaded bolt that runs through one of the tongues, threading into the other.
- No distinguishing mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on where it was made, the manufacturer's details, or any other information.
