- The engraving shows 107 names of the streets of Alicante, a scale of Castilian yardsticks, and a compass rose.
- In addition, it also has 'an explanation of the wadis and conduits of the drains of the city that have diminished the bottom of the Rada reducing it to the feet that the plan indicates in the proximity to the docks in numbers'.
- There is a text that reads: Plan of Alicante and its surroundings drawn up by the Captain of the Frigate and 2nd Naval Engineer D. Manuel Miralles in 1794. Manuel Miralles in the year 1794 with the Docks projected for the formation of the Port that was begun to be built in 1803.

- Vicente Capilla y Gil (1767-1817) was a Spanish burin engraver, with a prize for engraving awarded by the institution, and admitted as an academician of merit. He produced important works such as the intaglio cover of the Vulgate Bible and the Allegory of the Franciscan Order of 1792.
