- Engraving corresponding to Plate 28 of Civilisation, belonging to the Popular Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Sciences and Arts, made by Federico Gillman, and formed according to the Iconographic Encyclopaedia and the Conversations Lexicon of Germany.
- The engraving depicts various utensils of all kinds, from urns to kings' chairs, vases, ornaments, marmite, etc.
- In the upper margin is the title "CIVILISATION", and in the upper right-hand corner is printed "Lam. 28", which identifies it as engraving number 28 in a series on civilisations.
- In the lower margin are the identifications of the different objects and utensils and that some of them come from Italy, the late Bronze Age, the Iron Age, etc.
- Intaglio etching on steel, although another technique could also have been used.
- Produced in single-colour black tone, very well inked, centred with acceptable margins and with good stamping.
