- Photoengraving is the production of relief prints by transferring photographic images onto a plate for printing, so that light or dark areas become susceptible to engraving. It is normally applied to metal, but can also be used on glass, plastic or other materials.
- The plate is worked with the highest quality, and on the basis of a drawing made with great skill. This has made it possible to obtain a unique piece.
- Its conservation is magnificent, having been used on very few occasions.
- We think that it could be a page from a book, possibly the cover. It depicts a kitchen, with three people cooking in it. There are floral decorations at the top and on the sides.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.
