- In the obverse it appears: The Virgin of Barcelona with the child Jesus in her lap. Worshippers of the Virgin around her. It also bears the following inscription: Redemptrix captivorvm ora pro nobis.
- The reverse shows: The Virgin seated, and at her feet several knights, one of them the king raising his sword. It has the following inscription: VII centenary of the descent of the Blessed Virgin to Barcelona. 1218 - 1918.
- Plain edge without any inscription.
