- Engraving Plan of the city of Alicante. Later coloured.
- The engraving shows the siege by sea of the city of Alicante by the English fleet Royall Ann, during the War of Succession.
- The following inscription appears at the bottom: Plan of the city and castle of Alicante, besieged by the knight D'Asfeldt on 30 November 1708 and surrendered by capitulation on 19 April 1709.
- The plan belongs to a work by the Frenchman Rapin, translated into English by Mr. Tindal, the work is called: The history of England.
- The scale is in English feet. In the upper right-hand corner there is a legend with a list of the main points of the city.
- It is folded in half, as it is an engraving belonging to a book.
- The back is smooth. It is large and unframed.
- It is very important that the engraving has a distinctive mark or contrast in order to be able to identify data such as the engraver, the artist, the place where it was printed and other details.
