- Beautiful and curious engraving in black and white, of the bay of Alicante with numbers and annotations in French all over the plan.
- In the upper left corner it has a small legend, with the title and graphic scales in miles and toesas. In the lower right corner it has the data of the draftsman, the engraver and the engraving number.
- Very little is known about the author. It is only known that he published a single book on the ports of the Mediterranean. He was a navigator in the French Royal Navy, hydrographer, and dedicated his work to Jean Frederick Phelypeaux, Count of Maurepas and Minister of the Navy of Louis XV.
- It is numbered 67. It is represented by mountain profiles with shading and bathymetric coordinates. Planimetry with cities represented by population centers, farmland, masses of trees and watchtowers. The coast is enhanced with shading, reefs, anchorages and dotted beaches and seabeds. In the sea, nautical rose with thirty-two winds and fleur-de-lis indicating in N. Scarce toponymy. Dated during the reign of Philip V (1700-1746).
