Buy ENGRAVING CIVILIZATION 44 GRAS Cª EVENTS IN GERMANY AND POLAND.

- Engraving corresponding to Plate 44 of Civilisation, belonging to the Popular Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Sciences and Arts, made by Federico Gillman, and formed according to the Iconographic Encyclopaedia and the Conversations Lexicon of Germany.
- The engraving depicts various important events between the 17th and 18th centuries in Germany and Poland, including the funeral of a German countess, the coronation celebrations of the people of Frankfurt, etc.
- In the upper margin is the title ‘CIVILISATION’, and in the upper right-hand corner is printed ‘Lam. 44’, which identifies it as engraving number 44 in a series on civilisations.
- In the lower margin are the identifications of the different important acts that appear in the engraving, such as a processional entrance of Charles VII in Munich in 1750, the imperial coronation in 1630, the assembly of the notables of Poland in the 18th century, etc.
