- Engraved map of the Mediterranean Sea from Murcia to Catalonia, including the Balearic Islands.
- Beautiful and curious colour engraving of the Mediterranean coast at the beginning of the 18th century.
- Only one name appears: IV Feuille. After exhaustive research we have found Daniel de La Feuille (1640-1709) born in France, he was a goldsmith, art dealer, engraver, publisher, watchmaker and cartographer. Of all his cartographic works, the ‘Portable Atlas or the New Theatre of War in Europe’ of 1706 stands out. In addition to this atlas, he produced other cartographic works that continued to be published after his death thanks to his sons Jacob (1668-1719) and Paul (1688-1727) who carried on their father's business. The atlas comprises maps and plans of major cities and fortresses, including several maps of Spain. It is very likely that this map belonged to the aforementioned atlas.
- The name of the cartographer and engraver appears in the upper right-hand corner.
- It has no legend. Divided into coordinates, of which the abscissa is represented by letters and the ordinate by numbers.
- It is folded in three parts, probably as a fold-out of a book, in this case an atlas.
- The fact that the engraving has a distinctive mark or contrast is of great importance in order to identify data such as the engraver, the artist, the place where it was printed and other details.
