Buy ARCHITECTURAL ENGRAVING 14. ST. PAUL IN ROME, RAVENNA CAPITAL.

- Engraving corresponding to Plate 14 of Civilisation, belonging to the Popular Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Sciences and Arts, made by Federico Gillman, and formed according to the Iconographic Encyclopaedia and the Conversations Lexicon of Germany.
- The engraving depicts plans and images of important churches in Rome, capitals, etc.
- In the upper margin is the title ‘CIVILISATION’, and in the upper right-hand corner is printed ‘Lam. 14’, which identifies it as engraving number 14 in a series on civilisations.
- In the lower margin are the identifications of the different buildings and plans of antiquity, together with the details of each one of them.
- Intaglio etching on steel, although another technique could also have been used.
- It is in single-colour black tone, very well inked, centred with acceptable margins and with a good stamping.
