- On the obverse, the number 8 is displayed in white with a crown, surrounded by branches from which a trumpet hangs. It is framed by a border with the inscriptions "DANMARK" and "POSTFRIM. 8 ORE". The entire print is surrounded by a blue-gray watermark.
- Vertical perforation: 16. Vertical perforations: 15.
- Horizontal perforation: 14. Horizontal perforations: 13.
- Circular postmark with an illegible date.
- Printed on medium-thickness, good-quality, very light off-white paper in single-color shades of blue-gray and red. Very good ink, good embossing, and good centering.
