- The sculptor and engraver, Joaquín Molina was a Spanish wood engraver of the first half of the 19th century, and his works were in periodicals, as well as in different works.
- The engraving, made in black and white, shows a general view of Alicante from the tip of the pier. A big swell is observed, with several ships, and some characters on the coast and on the ships. In the background is observed Alicante walled, and the castle.
