- Beautiful and curious colour engraving, with numbers, annotations and names written in English. In the centre is a compass rose, a fleur-de-lis indicating north and an upward-pointing hand indicating the verticality of the drawing.
- It has annotations of degrees and minutes, as well as miles. Numbered 5 and signed by the engraver: J. Stephenson Sc.
- James Stephenson (1808-1886) was a 19th-century British engraver and illustrator known for his detailed and elegant botanical and scientific prints.
- Alicante Castle appears in the upper part, with the city on the left. There are three towers at the sides.
- This is an intaglio print, a copperplate etching process.
- It is small in size and unframed.
