- Tracer from the second half of the 19th century. It probably belonged to a compass set.
- Three-piece tracer. The bone handle is screwed onto the body of the prongs, which, in turn, is fitted into a cylindrical brass base.
- The base of the handle ends in a beautifully carved miniature ball.
- The body has a brass head and some of the prongs are made of steel.
- The reeds have a small plate on the wheel to ensure more even pressure.
- The tips of the reeds are in very good condition. The distance between the reeds is adjusted by a metal wheel with a threaded pin that passes through the upper reed and screws into the lower one.
- No markings, brands, or hallmarks have been found that could provide information about the place of manufacture, the manufacturer, or other details.
