- Obverse: Saint Aloysius Gonzaga praying to the Virgin with the Child Jesus, surrounded by cherubs. The inscription "Ste Aloysi Ora Pro Norbis" appears at the bottom.
- Reverse: The Immaculate Virgin is depicted in the center, surrounded by four angels.
- The hallmark "AM" appears on both sides. Its meaning is unknown.
- The medal has a flat bail and a ring; it is very thick. Plain edge.
