- The vase is large. It features floral decorations surrounding the vase and two sculptures. One is a seated girl on the rim of the upper part, and the other is a boy at the base. The base is also surrounded by a floral border.
- It has a simple yet very elegant design. With a wide mouth and a very voluptuous body.
- It is signed by Sylvain Kinsburger (1855-1935), a French Neoclassical artist and sculptor. He was a student of Auguste Dumont and Gabriel Jules Thomas at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Several of his sculptures are in Paris. He also painted portraits and exhibited several medallions and busts in the Paris Salons.
