- Used 25-cent postage stamp from Spain, dated 1922. Carmine colour.
- On the front, inside a slightly rectangular carmine frame, is the bust of King Alfonso XIII facing forward, in white and carmine, above which appears a royal crown. Around the frame is a border with filigree and floral motifs. At the bottom, ‘ESPAÑA’ in white, inside a carmine space. Above it, ‘CORREOS’ in carmine. In each lower corner, “25” and ‘Cs.’ in carmine inside a shield with a white background. Signed ‘E. VAQUER’ in the lower right margin.
- Linear postmark.
- Vertical perforation: 16. Vertical perforations: 15.
- Horizontal perforation: 13. Horizontal perforations: 12.
- Printed on thin, good quality, off-white paper, in a single carmine colour, very good ink, good printing and well centred.
- No distinctive markings, stamps or contrasts have been found that could provide further information about this postage stamp.
